The horse

Over The Bridge is a three-year-old bay filly by Toronado, the two-time Champion Victorian Sire whose stud fee sits at $88,000, out of a Snitzel mare from a family full of Group 1 performers including Melito and Pariah. Her half-sibling High On The Hill is a dual winner already competing at metro level, and Ciaron Maher thought enough of the family to purchase the dam's next foal for $600,000 at the 2026 Magic Millions. She is an unbeaten 3yo filly who won smartly on debut at Bendigo under Mark Zahra only a few days ago with bundles of improvement to come. Ciaron handpicked her as the very first horse for the Unbridled Racing Club, the breeding, the early signs, and the trainer's conviction all point in the right direction. She did everything right in her trials and she's only going to get better with racing and to say we were impressed with her performance at Bendigo was an understatement. The day to day cost of racing: training fees, agistment, farrier and vet care, transport and race nominations. Held for the syndicate and drawn down as the bills fall due.
