Treat this as entertainment, not an investment. Racehorse ownership is speculative and you may lose some or all of the money you invest. You receive your share of any prize money the horse earns, but buy in because you want to own her, not because you're expecting a return.
None. Training, vets, insurance, transport, race-day fees and management are all covered by the one payment. No monthly levy, no bill when she goes out for a spell.
You hold a real interest in a registered scheme that owns the horse. You get race-day access, the stable's own updates and data, and prize money: the same information the trainer's other owners get.
No. Plenty of Unbridled owners have never owned a horse before and some have never been to a race meeting. Everything you need arrives in the app, in plain English.
It happens, and it's the risk you're taking on. Horses get injured or turn out not to be quick enough. If she's retired, she's rehomed through the stable's welfare program, and any proceeds are distributed to shareholders pro rata.
No. You're buying an interest in an asset under an AFSL, with a PDS and a target market determination. What you do at the TAB on race day is your business.
Your money is in the horse until she's sold or retired, when proceeds are distributed to shareholders. There's no early exit, so spend what you'd be comfortable spending on a night out.
Funds in your wallet are withdrawable at any time.
Updates land weekly while she's in work, from the stable itself. If she's sold or retired you'll hear it from us before you'd read it anywhere else.
She's rehomed through the stable's welfare program. Every horse that races for Unbridled has somewhere to go afterwards, and you'll hear where she ends up.
