The horse

Amazing Journey is by Starspangledbanner, who was an exceptional horse both in Australia and in Europe. As a sire, he has proven to be top class as well as supremely versatile, producing Gr1 winners from 1200m all the way to 2000m in the form of Cox Plate winner, State Of Rest. The sire is also off the back of arguably his best year at stud in having both the Gr1 Irish 2000 Guineas and Gr1 Irish 1000 Guineas winner in Gstaad and Precise. Only a few weeks ago did he add another Gr1 winner to his CV in Senorita Bonita over 1200m in the Prix Morny. Not only is the sire phenomonal but the dam, Kiss Me Daily also has a family of proven performers, none more so than Gr1 Epsom Handicap winner in He's Your Man, who is a half sibling to Kiss Me Daily. He's Your Man was imported from the UK, just like Amazing Journey and proved to be extremely successful.

Amazing Journey has so far raced 11 times and is a Northern Hemisphere 3yo but a Southern Hemisphere 4yo which allows us to potentially compete in the Gr1 Golden Eagle which is for 4yos only. During his 11 starts, he has won 5 times including most recently back to back wins at Ascot over 1200m and 1400m. This is a horse drastically improving and has gone up 14lbs in the ratings in 4 runs and we have got in at the right time. There is no limit to this lads potential improvement and he will hopefully be taking you to some of Australia's most iconic races.

The day to day cost of racing: training fees, agistment, farrier and vet care, transport and race nominations. Held for the syndicate and drawn down as the bills fall due.
